Call for Book Proposals: Advances in Game-Based Learning (Springer) edited by Dirk Ifenthaler, Scott Warren, and Deniz Eseryel.
Greetings Members of the AECT R&T Division,
My co-editors and I would like to invite you to submit a proposal for an edited- or authored- book for the Springer book series titled “Advances in Game-Based Learning.”
This series is intended to present current perspectives on the problems and obstacles faced in the adoption of games for instruction. Although promising, the acceptance of game-based learning (GBL) is not universal. Important questions remain: Who can afford to invest in games for learning? How do teachers know if their students are learning the right things from games? How can GBL facilitate assessment of higher order learning outcomes?
The books in this series will present innovative and worthwhile research methodologies and development tools seeking to solve current problems and obstacles faced in the adoption of game-based learning for learning and instruction.
The book series is aimed at covering various subject areas, including but not limited to:
K-12
Higher Education
Vocational Education
Business Education
Health Education
Design & Development
Assessment
